Melt pressed scrap of the unshredded scrapped automobiles or electric appliances is used as a raw material 16, by using a melting apparatus 1 having a melting chamber 2 with a heat source 19 and a shaft type of a combustion chamber 3 directly connected to the melting chamber. A recycling method comprises melting the pressed scrap of the scrapped automobiles or the electric appliances in the melting chamber with the heat source, while supplying the pressed scrap of scrapped automobiles of the electric appliances to the combustion chamber, so as to maintain a state that a space for exhaust gas to burn and raise the temperature is secured in the upper part of the combustion chamber as well as to maintain a state that the unmelted pressed scrap of waste automobiles or the waste electrical household appliances exists in the melting chamber and the lower part of the combustion chamber, and tapping a molten metal 17 when its predetermined amounts are stored in the melting chamber.
