Title:
RED SENSITIVE SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3456671
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the photographic material high in contrast and gradation and sensitivity by incorporating a salt of a metal of group IIa to be added to a silver halide emulsion during spectral sensitization.
CONSTITUTION: This photographic material has a silver halide emulsion layer sensitized to a red light by an anionic sensitizing dye having an absorption maximum between 600-700nm, and in this case, the anionic red-sensitive dye suitable for its use is a generally used anionic red-sensitive dye and such a dye can be used alone or in ≥2 combination.
