Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute removal control to remove reductant deposits accumulated around an addition valve, when necessary.SOLUTION: When deposits of urea, etc. are accumulated around an addition valve 7, the deposits cause urea water to be difficult to be added from the addition valve 7 and thus the flow amount of the urea water when added is smaller than in a normal state. Thus, the pressure of the urea water to be supplied to the addition valve 7 is adjusted to be a target value without so much increasing the rotating speed of a pump 9, and the rotating speed of the pump 9 tends to be lower than in the normal state of the addition valve 7. Even when gas mixed into the urea water to be supplied into the addition valve 7 is repeatedly expanded and shrunk in a short time, the rotating speed of the pump 9 at this time is difficult to be influenced therefrom. Removal control is performed to remove the deposits on the basis of the fact that the rotating speed of the pump 9 during the addition of the urea water from the addition valve 7 is lower than a determined value. The removal control can be executed when necessary.
