Abstract:
To provide a highly active reduction catalyst structure for an automobile having excellent catalytic functions and a method for producing the same and to provide an exhaust gas treatment device for an automobile.SOLUTION: There is provided a reduction catalyst structure for an automobile 1 which comprises a carrier 10 with a porous structure composed of a zeolite-type compound and at least one NOx reduction catalyst 20 inherent in the carrier. The carrier 10 has mutually communicating passages 11. In particular, the carrier 10 has passages 11 formed so that a plurality of holes with the porous structure 11a, 11a,... are mutually communicated inside the carrier 10. The NOx reduction catalyst 20 is at least present in the passages 11 of the carrier 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
