To provide a reduction method for increase in rolling resistance, a reduction system for increase in rolling resistance for a vessel, and a vessel capable of improving fuel consumption, etc., of the vessel by rationally reducing increase in rolling resistance.SOLUTION: A method for reducing increase in rolling resistance of a vessel 1 occurring due to rolling of a hull in waves in a navigation method for an automatic navigation vessel reduces increase in rolling resistance in response to characteristic of waves by executing at least one of reduction in rolling attenuation coefficient, reduction in rolling gyration radius, reduction in rolling angle, and increase of draft regarding rolling attenuation coefficient B44, rolling gyration radius kxx, rolling angle, and draft d of the hull dominating increase in rolling resistance RAWRoll.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
