Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a reed for air-jet loom enabling multi-weft weaving which is effective and reliable at the time of weaving with yarns having especially appreciable irregularities.

CONSTITUTION: The distance between two binding spirals 2, 3 for profiled dents 1 is approximately 81 mm and open guiding grooves 6 for air and weft have an entry flare 7, whose lower surface 8 has an open inclination of approximately 6° with respect to a normal to the rear surface of the grooves.
