Abstract:
To provide a frequency setting system for data communication equipment by which an oscillated frequency is corrected into an target frequency, even if an inexpensive oscillator is employed.
An integrated switched capacitor 25 is used for a frequency fine-adjustment capacitor which is a component of a reference oscillator, and the oscillated frequency is set by controlling digitally number of connected capacitors of the switched capacitor 25. Or besides predetermined data are being used as a target frequency, by using a frequency counter 29 to set the frequency so as to nullify a highly comparison error with respect to an external reference frequency.
