Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a reflection coating material capable of realizing a high reflection efficiency when forming a coating film. SOLUTION: This reflection coating material is obtained by dispersing transparent glass beads 5 having a metallic film 4 formed on the nearly half face of the surface thereon. A reflection coating film 6 formed by coating of the coating material is capable of dispersing the glass beads 5 having the film 4 on the half face facing the random direction. In addition to the reflection by the film 4 on the respective beads 5, light refracted by the passage through the interior of the beads 5 and reflected on the inner surface of the film 4 faces all the directions. The glass beads 5 preferably have 35-50 μm grain diameter and the content ratio is preferably 70-80 vol.%.
