Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a reflecting wave absorbing body with thin profile and low price which properly absorbs a reflecting wave from an obstacle independently of a frequency band.
CONSTITUTION: This absorbing body is provided with plural 1/4 cylindrical reflecting plates 3A-3N whose radius is 1/4 of an operating wavelength of a transmission antenna and having a proper length in a direction perpendicular to the polarized wave face of the transmission antenna and with a reflecting plate mount position adjustment plate 6 adjusting the interval of the centers of the plural 1/4 cylindrical reflecting plates 3A-3N. An incident wave to and a reflecting wave from an obstacle are synthesized in opposite phase by adjusting the interval of the centers of the plural 1/4 cylindrical reflecting plates 3A-3N and the center position with the reflecting plate mount position adjustment plate 6.
