Title:
REFRACTORY MATERIAL USING POLYMER ABSORBENT BODY GELATINIZED BY ABSORBING WATER, SIMPLE FIREPROOF SUITS PROTECTING BODY FROM HOT AIR AND FLAME BY SIMPLY WEARING IT WHEN ENCOUNTERING FIRE, SHAPE FOR PREVENTING INTRUSION OF HEAT FROM JOINT OF WRAPPED INSULATOR, DEVICE FOR REFLECTING RADIANT HEAT BY STICKING OR DEPOSITING METAL FOIL, AND SPECIFICATIONS OF SIMPLIFIED TYPE WHEN INEXPENSIVELY MANUFACTURING IT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2009219835
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide: fireproof suits for protecting a body from flame and smoke by simply wearing it when encountering fire and securing an evacuation route; a structure for preventing the intrusion of heat from parts joining insulator in its inside; and a method of reflecting radiant heat for improving the function of the fireproof suits.

A material formed by wrapping a polymer absorber previously gelatinized by absorbing water, with a polyethylene sheet or the like and stabilizing it is wrapped with a refractory material such as glass cloth as an insulating material and is formed into the fireproof suits that protects the body from the flame and the hot air. The joint part is provided with a step of preventing the intrusion of heat from the polyethylene joint part when sealing the gelatinized polymer absorber, or the refractory material of the flame-resistant suits, in polyethylene or the like, to compensate the heat resistance of the joint part. Furthermore, metal foils are stuck to the surface and inside for reflecting the radiant heat radiated from the flame to prevent the easy intrusion of the heat to the interior.
