Title:
REFRESHMENT PROCESS FOR ALKYLATION SOLID CATALYST
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3855175
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make especially temp. and concn. of a reactant well uniform by performing refreshment, in a reaction zone, by circulating at least periodically at least one fraction rich in isobutane obtained after fractionation or separation of the reaction effluent over a catalyst bed.
CONSTITUTION: First, the supply of a feed introduced by a conduit 1 into the reaction zone R contg. the catalyst bed is stopped. Then the catalyst is separated from a liq. hydrocarbon phase present in the reaction zone R and the liq. phase is extracted by a conduit 2 to send it to a separation zone S. The catalyst remains in the reaction zone R during extraction. At least a part of an isoparaffin-rich liq. phase originating from the top of the reaction zone S is introduced into the reaction zone S by a conduit 5. Furthermore, temp. and pressure conditions are regulated to values corresponding to the values of the alkylation reaction, the feed is introduced into the reaction zone R and consequently is brought into contact with the catalyst sunk in isoparaffin, or with the catalyst suspension in isoparaffin.
