Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-completion type refrigerant compressor which can sufficiently protect a belt.SOLUTION: A refrigerant compressor 10 comprises a drive circuit 60 for turning on/off power supply to an electromagnetic clutch 30 at the activation of a refrigeration cycle 1. The drive circuit 60 is constituted independently from an air conditioner 100. The drive circuit 60 comprises a timer circuit 62 having a timer switch SWb for forcibly turning on the power supply to the electromagnetic clutch 30 at the activation of the refrigeration cycle 1, and automatically turning off the power supply to the electromagnetic clutch 30 after the lapse of a prescribed reference time. The drive circuit 60 also comprises a sensor circuit 64 having a sensor switch SWs for turning on/off the power supply to the electromagnetic clutch 30 according to a refrigerant flow rate. Then, the timer switch SWb and the sensor switch SWs are electrically connected between a battery BT constituting a power supply part and the electromagnetic clutch 30 in parallel with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
