To provide a distributor having simple structure which can distribute refrigerant uniformly without causing clogging or abnormal noise.
The refrigerant distributor 1 is formed by coupling first and second chambers 10, 20 through a throttle 30 wherein the inlet opening 11 of the first chamber 11 is coupled with the rear end of a curved inlet pipe 15. Each of a plurality of outlet openings 22 made in the rear end wall 21 of the second chamber is coupled with an outlet pipe 25. The ratio of the diameter d1 of the inlet pipe to the diameter d2 of the throttle is 1/2-1. In the refrigerant distributor, the throttle is formed by constricting the central part of a pipe having diameter D of the first and second chambers, the inlet opening is formed by constricting one end part, and the rear end wall 21 of the second chamber 20 is formed by coupling an independent member to the other end part. Influence of a curved pipe is moderated by the first chamber and the second chamber coupled with an outlet pipe is not influenced.
