Abstract:
To provide a refrigerant leakage detection structure capable of simply and reliably specifying a refrigerant leakage place even in a case where leakage occurs in a refrigerant pipe formed by connecting a plurality of pipe members in a sealed manner.SOLUTION: A refrigerant leakage detection structure detects that a refrigerant having a higher specific gravity than air circulating in a refrigerant pipe 8 leaks from the inside of a refrigerant pipe 8 comprising a plurality of pipe members connected in a sealed manner along a pipe conduit. On the outside of a joint part 11 between pipe members 10, 12 adjacent to each other along the pipe conduit, heat insulating coating materials 20 and 22 are coated so as to form a gap V between themselves and the outer surface of the joint part 11. The refrigerant leakage detection structure is provided with: a communication part 31 extending through the coating materials 20, 22 and communicating the gap V with the outside of the coating materials 20, 22; and a bottomed refrigerant housing part 32 arranged in communication with the outer end part of the communication part 31, and comprising an opening part 32a for detecting a refrigerant.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
