A refrigerant transport hose 1 includes a gas barrier layer 2 comprising a polyamide resin composition. The polyamide resin composition contains one or more metal compounds in an amount of 1-15 wt.% relative to the polymer composition; wherein the metal compounds are selected from the group consisting (a) a hydrotalcite and (b) divalent or trivalent hydroxide, oxide, and basic salt of metal other than hydrotalcites. Flexibility and durability of the hose may be raised by blending an olefin elastomer to the polyamide resin composition.
