PURPOSE: To widen the floor area of refrigerating freight ship's hatch and facilitate the works for fitting heat-insulating materials and lining materials to the surface of the outer side plate of the ship by forming the outer side plate surface so as to be bent on the lower deck surface and vertical between till the upper deck surface.

CONSTITUTION: The figure shows the cross-sectional view of a ship body at a little front position. Contrary to the usual refrigerating conveyance ship shown by the solid line, the refrigerating conveyance ship improved in this invention has an outer side plate surface 4 which is formed vertically between the upper and the lower deck surfaces 3 and 2 having the same width. Thus, the floor area of the hatch 5 of the refrigerating conveyance ship can be widened, and the fitting of heat- insulating materials and lining materials onto the surface 4 of the outer side plate of the hatch 5 of the refrigerating conveyance ship.
