This refrigerating cycle apparatus includes: a main compressor; a radiator for cooling a refrigerant compressed by the main compressor; the expander for expanding the refrigerant flowing out of the radiator; an evaporator for evaporating the refrigerant expanded by the expander; a sub-compressor for compressing the refrigerant flowing out of the evaporator which is connected to the expander by a driving shaft; an electric motor installed between the sub-compressor and the expander; and an expansion valve connected in parallel to the expander between an outlet of the radiator and an inlet of the evaporator wherein the hot water delivery temperature or the rotational frequency of the expander is sensed to open and close the opening of the expansion valve connected in parallel to the expander.
