To improve the temperature rise performance of a compressor discharge refrigerant by suppressing heat transfer from a compressor to an expander when starting the operation of a refrigerating cycle device.
The refrigerating cycle device is constituted by sequentially piping and connecting the compressor 101, a gas cooler 102, the expander 103 and an evaporator 104, branch-connecting an outlet of the gas cooler 102 to the inside of a shell of the expander 103 through a second flow control valve 109, connecting the compressor 101 to the expander 103 by a communicating pipe 134 through a first flow control valve 108, providing the discharge refrigerant piping of the compressor 101 with a refrigerant temperature detecting means 111, and providing a control means 110 for detecting the output value of the refrigerant temperature detecting means 111 to regulate the opening of the first flow control valve 108 and second flow control valve.
