The refrigerating device 11 for the container mounted on one longitudinal side of the container 10, to which power is supplied from an engine generator for driving a compressor to cool a container room, comprises a cooling fan arranged on one crosswise side of a casing of the refrigerating device for cooling the engine generator, vent holes formed in a plurality of wall faces facing to outside air, of a cooling fan chamber 64 storing the cooling fan for entrapping the outside air, vent holes formed in a plurality of wall faces facing to outside air, of a condenser chamber 63 storing a condenser 74 for entrapping the outside air, and an oiling closing cover arranged on a plurality of wall faces on the outside of a tank room 65 storing a fuel tank 75 for the engine generator 94.
