Abstract:
PURPOSE:To utilize low-temperature energy, obtained by the ice heat accumulation, inexpensively, by a method wherein the title system is provided with an ice supplying device, scratching the fine grains of ice floated in a solution tank up and suppling them into a heat accumulating tank, and a water returning device, returning water in the heat accumulating tank into the solution tank when the level of water in the heat accumulating tank has exceeded a set level. CONSTITUTION:Cooling water, whose temperature is increased by heat exchange, is returned to the upper part of the fine grains of ice floated in a heat accumulating tank 11 while cooled water, obtained by the melting of the fine grains of ice, is taken out of the lower part of the heat accumulating tank 11 to supply it to a heat exchanger 17 and low-temperature energy, taken out of a solution tank 1 through the heat accumulating tank 11, is utilized to effect air conditioning. A water returning device 22 is constituted so that water in the heat accumulating tank 11 is returned to the solution tank 1 by overflow through first, second and third communicating pipes 19, 20, 21 when the amount of water in the heat accumulating tank 11 is increased by the melting of the fine grains of ice and the level of the water has exceeded a level, set by the third communicating pipe 21.
