As a refrigerating system for a supermarket, a plurality of units 10, 20, and 30 on use side are connected in parallel to one outdoor unit 40. Each unit 10, 20, and 30 on use side consists of first type of units 10 and 20 on use side which performs binary refrigeration cycles with the outdoor unit 40, and a second type of unit 30 on use side which performs single stage of refrigeration cycles with the outdoor unit 40. The first type of unit 10 and 20 on use side are applied to a freezing showcase and a cold storage showcase. The second type of unit 30 on use side is adopted as a general air conditioning unit. The outdoor unit 40 is equipped with a heat storage vessel 46, and at night operation, surplus refrigeration capacity is utilized for use is heat storage.
