To provide a refrigerating type air dryer achieving energy saving by improving condensation efficiency of the refrigerating type air dryer and decreasing a load of a refrigerating compressor, which dryer is environment-friendly by decreasing noises generated by the refrigerating type air dryer, and in which failures are reduced by eliminating usage of components causing the failures.
In the refrigerating type air dryer, a cooling medium compressed by a compressor 1 is liquified by a condenser, and this liquified cooling medium is vaporized by an evaporating instrument 31 of an evaporator 3, and air introduced into the evaporator 3 is cooled thereby to remove water content. A primary condenser 2 of a spontaneous heat dissipation type for preliminarily condensing the cooling medium is arranged on the downstream side of the compressor 1, and a secondary condenser 4 for condensing the cooling medium preliminarily condensed by cooling the air guided out from the evaporator 3 is arranged on the downstream side of this primary condenser 2.
