In this refrigeration cycle, a turbine 21 is rotated by a refrigerant delivered from a gas cooler 2 to generate drive power to rotate a pump 22 in an accumulator 6, and the refrigerant introduced from an evaporator 4 is compressed by the pump 22. Thus the pressure of the refrigerant delivered toward by the compressor 1 by the rotation of the pump 22, that is, inlet pressure of the compressor 1 can be increased. As a result, the power of the compressor 1 can be reduced, and energy-saving can be achieved.
