Abstract:

To improve construction property when filling a refrigerant in a refrigerant circuit 10, in a refrigeration device 1 circulating carbon dioxide as the refrigerant in the refrigerant circuit 10 configured by connecting a heat source unit 2 to a use unit 5 by a communication pipe 6 to perform a refrigeration cycle.

This refrigeration device is detachably provided with a carbon dioxide generator 15 generating carbon dioxide. When filling the carbon dioxide as the refrigerant in the refrigerant circuit 10, the detachably provided carbon dioxide generator 15 is brought into an installation state. In that state, the carbon dioxide is generated by the carbon dioxide generator 15, and the generated carbon dioxide is sent to the refrigerant circuit 10 until a prescribed amount of the carbon dioxide is filled.
