Title:
REFRIGERATION SYSTEM AND AN IMPROVED TRANSCRITICAL VAPOUR COMPRESSION CYCLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2006162246
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To improve efficiency and performance of an air conditioning system, and to avoid the need for having a high superheated state or a high compressor outlet temperature in the air conditioning system particularly using a carbon dioxide refrigerant.

In the vapour compression cycle, a compressor, a gas cooler, an expansion valve, and a heat exchanger or an evaporator are connected in this order, and a thermoelectric means is provided for lowering a refrigerant temperature in an inlet of the expansion valve. A thermoelectric device may be provided at an outlet of the gas cooler or may be incorporated into the gas cooler.
