Abstract:

To improve the power recovering efficiency by increasing a mass flow rate of a compressor, when an evaporating temperature is lowered.

This refrigeration unit comprises a refrigerating circuit 2 comprising the compressor 3 and an expander 5, and executing an evaporation compression-type refrigerating cycle. A pressure sensor 11 is mounted to detect a discharged pressure of the compressor 3. The refrigerating circuit 2 has a refrigerant reservoir 10 for reserving the refrigerant. The refrigerant in the refrigerant reservoir 10 is supplied to the refrigerating circuit 2, when the discharged pressure detected by the pressure sensor 11 is lowered less than a specific value. As a result, the amount of refrigerant circulated in the refrigerating circuit 2 is increased. The mass flow rate of the refrigerant in the compressor 3 is increased, the mass flow rate of the refrigerant in the compressor 3 and that in the expansion unit 5 are balanced, and the power recovering rate in the expansion unit 5 is improved.
