To solve a problem that liquid cannot be stably supplied to an atomizer from a water absorbing material due to aging deterioration since dust in air flowing in a vegetable compartment and liquid are adsorbed by the water absorbing material.
This refrigerator has a water storing portion 30 for storing liquid, the atomizer 21 for atomizing the liquid, guides 32 formed in the water storing portion 30, and a horn 22 inserted between the guides 32 from the outer direction to the inner direction of the water storing portion 30. The liquid in the water storing portion 30 generates surface tension between the guide 32 and the horn 22, and atomization is performed by supplying the liquid to the atomizer 21, thus the liquid can be stably supplied to an ultrasonic atomizer without using the water absorbing material to which the liquid is supplied, and the liquid can be atomized suitably for a situation of a storage compartment in a maintenance-free state free from the generation of consumable goods.
