PURPOSE: To obtain a refrigerator oil composition which can prevent the corrosion of a metal and the formation of sludge by blending a base oil containing a polyvinyl ether with a specified epoxy compound and/or carbodiimide compound.
CONSTITUTION: This composition contains a base oil containing a polyvinyl ether; and at least one compound selected from a compound having an epoxy structure in the molecule and a carbodiimide compound, preferably in an amount of 0.05-10wt.%. A preferable compound having an epoxy structure in the molecule used is the one represented by formula I or II (wherein R1 is H or a 1-20C alkyl; and R2 is a 1-20C alkyl). A preferable carbodiimide compound used is the one represented by the formula R3-N=C=N-R4 (wherein R3 and R4 are each a 1-20C alkyl, a 4-22C cycloalkyl, phenyl or a 7-24C alkylphenyl).
