To obtain a refrigerator, improved in a cooling efficiency, by a method wherein all of cold air, discharged out of the discharging port of a case, flows into the case and is returned to the cold air returning port of a refrigerating chamber after cooling stored matters in the case.
A refrigerating chamber 2 is provided with an isolated chamber 4, into which a drawable case 7 is received at the lower part of the same, while the isolated chamber 4 is provided with a case discharging port 13 for discharging cold air into the case and a refrigerating chamber cold air returning port 10 for sending the cold air in the refrigerating chamber 2 out. In such a refrigerator, a cold air passage, communicating the discharging port 13 of the case with the refrigerating chamber cold air returning port 10 as a short- circuit, is provided with an intercepting structure.
