To provide an energy-saving refrigerator in which cold obtained from a Sterling freezer can be stored and the drinks, foods or the like stored in the refrigerator can be cooled or its cooled state can be kept while a degree of freshness of the drinks or foods is maintained.
Cold obtained from a Sterling freezer 14 arranged in a machine chamber 13 is received by a cooler 9 and then the cold is fed into an inner case 6 as cold air under an operation of a blower fan 28. The cold is stored at a sheet-like cold storing material 7a arranged at the bottom surface or side surfaces and inner side of the inner case 6, thereafter, the cold is gradually released to contribute to either cooling or keeping cool the drinks, foods or the like stored in the inner case 6.
