To provide a refrigerator in which an electrostatic atomizing device capable of efficiently transporting the water in a water storage tank to a releasing section from a water absorbing section, is disposed with high volume efficiency.
In this refrigerator provided with the electrostatic atomizing device 70 including the releasing section 72 for releasing mists, the water storage tank 74 for storing the water supplied to the releasing section 72, the water absorbing section 76 for transporting the water in the water storage tank 74 to the releasing section 72, a power source device 78 for supplying electric power to the releasing section 72, and electrostatically atomizing the water transported to the releasing section 72 from the water storage tank 74, and a connecting section 80 for electrically connecting the power source device 78 and the releasing section 72, inside thereof, the water storage tank 74 has a projecting section 75 projecting downward from a bottom surface for placing at least a lower end section of the water absorbing section 76, and the connecting section 80 is disposed horizontally in opposition to the projecting section 75.
