Abstract:
To solve the problem in conventional refrigerators where since an illumination is repeatedly turned on and off whenever a door of the refrigerator is opened and closed, illumination quality is deteriorated and lighting time is lengthened, resulting in increasing power consumption when the door is opened and closed.
In the refrigerator, when the door of the refrigerator is closed, regarding the illuminating an illuminating device using a mounting substrate where light-emitting diodes are mounted, the light-emitting diodes continue to be turned off and after a predetermined time passes, be turned on when a door opening/closing detection means detects that the door is opened.
