A refrigerator includes: a storage room having an opening at the front side; an opening/closing part which opens or closes the opening; a flat plate part provided on an outer wall of the opening/closing part and having translucency and insulation properties; a detection part which is provided at the rear side of a first region in a surface of the flat plate part and detects changes of electrostatic capacitance of the first region; and a coat part which is a film covering the first region and translucent, the coat part in which a surface has oil-repellency.
