PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of easily, reliably fixing a front plate such as a glass plate to a door of the refrigerator, and improving the appearance of an external design.SOLUTION: A refrigerator 1 includes a body 1A; and a door 8 that can open/close a stockroom of the body 1A, a front plate 8A is disposed on a front surface of the door 8, a stepped section 60 is formed, for example, on an end surface 8D of the front plate 8, the stepped section 60 of the front plate 8 is attached by being fitted into a frame member 50 of the door 8, and an inner surface 8C of the front plate 8A is held by an extension holding section 53 provided on the frame member 50 of the door 8 and closely attached to a heat insulation material 51 disposed within the frame member 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
