PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of automatically opening a door in accordance with a user's intention while improving convenience and safety.SOLUTION: A refrigerator 1 comprises: a body; a door closing a front opening portion of the body; a control unit 100 provided in the body and controlling the refrigerator 1; and eye detection means 61 detecting a user's eye, the refrigerator being configured such that when the eye is detected by the eye detection means 61 and a predetermined visual line motion of the eye is detected, a control content of the control unit 100 is changed on the basis of the detected predetermined visual line motion of the eye to, for example, control door opening devices 51, 52 to operate to open doors.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
