To defrost an object to be defrosted efficiently without increasing user's effort.SOLUTION: A refrigerator includes: a storage room; a defrost placement part which is provided at the storage room and enables an object to be defrosted (a defrosted object) to be placed thereon; an ultrasonic vibration device which applies vibration to the defrost placement part to vibrate the defrost placement part; and a blower which generates wind to be blown onto the defrosted object when the defrosted object placed in the defrost placement part is defrosted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
