To make it possible to prevent a decrease in the condensing capacity of the condenser due to the entry of dusts, and to satisfactorily cool the condenser even if exhaust passages is not secured at the upper, both side and back surfaces of a refrigerator.
The refrigerator comprises a heat insulation case 3 having a heat insulator 10 provided between both inner and outer cases 8 and 9, a machine room provided at the side of the case 3, a unit 7 provided in the room and having a condenser 4, a compressor 5 and a condenser cooling blower 6, a unit base 18 for mounting the condenser 4 of the unit 7 at the rear part and the compressor 5 at the front from the condenser 4, an atmospheric suction port formed at the front surface of the room, an air outlet 21 formed at the rear of the base 18 and the rear of the condenser 4 to diffuse the air after heat exchanging, and a guard provided at the lower part of the suction port of the room to prevent the suction of the air after the heat exchanging from the suction port.
