Abstract:
To provide a refuse incinerator in which a secondary combustion melting furnace can be kept at 1200°C or above economically.
Oxygen rich air obtained from an oxygen enriching unit 13 is thrown into the secondary combustion melting furnace 10 of a refuse incinerator and the atmosphere being supplied to the oxygen enriching unit 13 is heated with heat from the refuse incinerator to produce oxygen rich air efficiently. Temperature of the secondary combustion melting furnace is kept at 1200°C or above thus realizing a refuse incinerator where dioxin in slag and flyash is reduced significantly.
