To make it possible to use a regenerated breach agent compsn. in an extremely concd. form and to stabilize more for providing a bleach replenishing liquid regenerated at lower pH.
This ferric-EDTA bleach regenerating agent compsn. mixed with a bleach overflow is capable of yielding the bleach replenishing liquid for reversal color silver halide photographic processing. The bleach regenerating agent compsn. has pH critically controlled to 6.0 to 6.5 and contains ferric ions in the total bromide ion concn. of ≥210g/L and in the amt. of ≥50g/L. At lest 50% of the bleach overflow and the bleach regenerating agent compsn. are mixed at least at a volumetric ratio of 1:1. After the pH is adjusted to 5.4 to 5.6, the replenishing liquid subjected to the pH adjustment is supplied to a bleaching tank in order to use the liquid in processing.
