Abstract:
To provide regenerated cellulose fibers that have controlled release, stability, durability, and the like without impairing a functionality of an oily substance, a method of manufacturing the same, and a fiber structure containing the fibers.SOLUTION: There is provided a method of manufacturing regenerated cellulose fibers, comprising: a step of preparing an oil-in-water (O/W) emulsion containing an oil droplet gel in which an oily substance is gelled using an oil gelling agent by mixing the oily substance, the oil gelling agent and an aqueous dispersion medium; a step of preparing an oil droplet gel-containing spinning solution by mixing the oil-in-water emulsion containing the oil droplet gel with a spinning solution containing cellulose; and a step of solidifying and regenerating the oil droplet gel-containing spinning solution from a nozzle into a spinning bath by extruding the solution to obtain regenerated cellulose fibers in which oil droplet gel is dispersed inside the fibers. There is provided a fiber structure containing the regenerated cellulose fibers.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
