Abstract:
To provide a regenerating method of a water-softening apparatus where a regenerating process time is short even if a consumption amount of a chelate agent is small.SOLUTION: A regenerating method of a water-softening apparatus 10 uses a water-softening apparatus 10 comprising a softening tank 12 for housing a weakly acidic cation-exchange resin, an electrolysis tank 14 for generating acidic electrolysis water, a regenerated water-adjusting part 130 for supplying regenerated water used for a regeneration process, and a chelate agent extended release part 78 for extendedly releasing a chelate agent to the generated water-adjusting part. The regeneration process has a regeneration first process, and a regeneration second process continuing to the regeneration first process. The regeneration first process is a process using a first regenerated water 301 composed of an acidic electrolysis water generated in the electrolysis tank 14 as regenerated water, and the regeneration second process is a process using a second regenerated water 302 containing a chelate agent for chelating a hardness constituent as regenerated water.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
