Abstract:

To inexpensively manufacture a filled-liquid type regenerator while preventing increase of a boiling point due to depth of liquid.

A liquid level position of an absorbing liquid in a rated operation is determined to be a height position L from a position higher than a top face of a heat transfer tube 23 by a radius (1/2D) of the heat transfer tube 23 to a position higher by a diameter D of the heat transfer tube 23, as a liquid storage section 30 in a container body 22. Further, a volume of the liquid storage section 30 is determined to be the sum of an occupied volume of absorbing liquid and an occupied volume of refrigerant vapor in the absorbing liquid in boiling, and to satisfy that a value of the product of a weight volume ratio of the absorbing liquid in the rated operation and the occupied volume of the absorbing liquid is a volume of the product of a weight volume ratio of the refrigerant vapor in the rated operation and the occupied volume of the refrigerant vapor in the absorbing liquid in boiling or less, and a ratio of the value of the former product and the value of the latter product is equal to a ratio of a mass flow rate of the absorbing liquid in the rated operation and a mass flow rate of the refrigerant vapor in the rated operation.
