To provide a registration apparatus for a pattern yarn for reweaving, capable of automatically and accurately registering a reweaving yarn so as to enable automatic weaving by a loom.

Two marks having a ground color and a different color are formed at an interval at end parts of weaving width in a pattern yarn 1 for reweaving. Optical sensors 9 and 10 for detecting the marks are disposed at positions corresponding to both the ends of a cloth fell. The end of a pattern yarn for weaving cut between the two marks is gripped by a rapier based 3 and transported to an opening of warps. The mark at the upstream side is detected by the optical sensor 10 installed at the upstream side of a weft in the cloth fell and the pattern yarn for reweaving is gripped by a weft gripping apparatus and is stopped at a fixed position. The mark 21 on the downstream side detects the optical sensor 9 laid on the downstream side to stop the pattern yarn 1 for reweaving at a fixed position by a weft carrier apparatus.
