Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make optimum control without disturbing a controlled system by setting a control coefficient used in the control operating formula of PID control while observing the output value of the controlled system. CONSTITUTION:An identifying block 7 takes the output value of a detector 3 as the input to operate the change rate with time of a controlled system 2 at the sampling time and defines the maximum value as an R value which determines the control coefficient and uses this R value to calculate a dad time and a temporary constant and identifies the characteristic of the system 2. A coefficient setting block 8 selects a preliminarily designated coefficient group from a coefficient table 10 to initialize the control coefficient. An evaluating block 12 observes the system 2 by the output of the detector 3 after initialization and determines a grade of correction in accordance with the evaluating rule of an evaluating rule table 17. A validity check block 14 checks the correcting coefficient value in accordance with a check rule table 19 to discriminate the validity. A coefficient correcting block corrects the initialized control coefficient in accordance with the correcting value determined by the block 14.
