Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regulating device for vehicle door opening/closing force that enables even a light-weight door to be opened for certain with small operational force when a door opening operation is started and the door to be closed for certain with small operation force when a door closing operation is started.SOLUTION: A regulating device for vehicle door opening/closing force includes an arm 1, a holding member 7 into which the arm 1 is inserted, and a pressing member 8 that presses the arm 1. The arm 1 has a first guiding groove 15 and a second guiding groove 16 formed in a longer-side direction of the arm 1, for guiding a pressing part 80 of the pressing member 8. The first guiding groove 15 is gently inclined upward near a starting end part 150 thereof, while the second guiding groove 16 is rapidly inclined downward toward a second junction part 156, near the second junction part 156 where the second guiding groove 16 joins the starting end part 150 of the first guiding groove 15. The first and the second guiding grooves 15, 16 are positioned such that the pressing part 80 is energized toward a side of the second guiding groove 16 when a door is closed, while the pressing part is located at a first junction part 165 corresponding to a half open state of the door.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
