Title:
REINFORCED STRUCTURE OF MOUNTING PART IN SCALDER FOR CONTACT LENS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3413477
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the water sealing property of a scalder and to prevent the intrusion of a preserving liquid or short circuits or fire in a device caused by the intrusion of the liquid even when cracks are produced, for example, in the plastic parts of a mounting part, by reinforcing the mounting part of the scalder for a contact lens with a heat-resistant sheet adhered to the back face of the mounting part through a heat-resistant adhesive.
SOLUTION: This scalder 1 is equipped with a casing 1', a mounting part 2 forms a housing part 4 together with the peripheral wall 3 surrounding the mounting part 2 and is formed in one body with the casing 1'. The back face 2' of the mounting part 2 is made flat, to which a heat-resistant sheet 5 comprising a material such as silicon or polyimide is adhered with a heat-resistant adhesive. The heat-resistant sheet 5 to be cut into an almost same size as the back face 2' of the mounting part 2 is used and the heat-resistant adhesive is applied on the whole of one surface of the heat-resistant sheet 5 and adhered. Thus, even when cracks penetrate the plastic part of the mounting part 2, the heat-resistant sheet 5 seals the cracks penetrating to the back face 2'.
