To provide a method for reinforcing a junction of fiber-composite aircraft components forming an elongate conduit.SOLUTION: The junction-reinforcing method comprises (a) abrading a junction 534, and (b) applying a sealant 558 along the junction 534 by means of a tool 538 moveable through an elongate conduit 528, the tool 538 exerting force on an interior surface 546 of the conduit 528 opposite the junction 534.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5A-5B
