Abstract:

To provide a simple method and a structure for reinforcing beams that allow the reinforced concrete to improve strength of the beam surely in an integrated manner with the concrete of the beam.

In this method, brackets are mounted on both sides of the target beam to be reinforced. The other end of a beam main reinforcement anchor with its one end attached to a base such as a support is arranged in an upper space of an arch plate. The arch-like arch plate is arranged between the brackets on both sides. One end of a shear reinforcing bar is attached to the arch plate, while the other end of the shear reinforcing bar is attached to the beam. On the interior portion between the arch plate and a lateral formwork located on its both external sides, concrete is placed so as to surround the beam main reinforcement anchor.
