To provide a reinforcement structure of a rigid frame structure, which leaves sufficient surplus power even if a brace is broken in a giant earthquake, and does not limit a direction of reinforcement to one direction.
A damper 5 is disposed over a girder 2 and a column 1 by joining a first joint plate 5a2 to a lower flange 2a of the girder 2 by bolts and joining a second joint plate 5a3 to a joint part 1g with the damper of the column 1 by bolts. To the girder 2, bolt joining is performed utilizing a hole group 2a1 at a position of 305 mm from a reference line to be a reference of arrangement of the column 1 of the lower flange 2a of the girder 2. The column 1 is a continuous column comprising a rectangular steel pipe whose external dimension is 150 mm square, a lower column 1c is a square steel pipe with 22 mm thickness, that is, without a joint by welding within a cross section, and a joint part is not provided in a length direction either.
