To surely fix each intersection of reinforcing bars by providing a reinforcing bar binding tool comprising a pressing member to press an upper side of one reinforcing bars and a support member to supported a lower side of another reinforcing bars to be intersected, and connecting the pressing member to the support member so as not to be detached from each other.

A reinforcing bars binding tool comprises a pressing member C to bind intersected reinforcing bars A, B and a support member D. Support pieces 4, 5, 4', 5' are in the open condition. Holding walls 2, 2' are inclined upward. In this condition, the holding walls 2, 2' are located along the longitudinal direction of the reinforcing bar A, while the support pieces 4, 5, 4', 5' are located on each side of the reinforcing bar B. Then, the support pieces 4, 5, 4', 5' are closed, intersected support parts 9, 9' are located outside intersected support parts 8,8', cut-and-rising pieces 12, 12' are fitted into fitting holes 10, 10' and locked to the end part of the fitting holes 10, 10' to prevent the intersected support parts 8, 8', 9, 9' from being opened, and the reinforcing bar B is held by support notched parts 6, 6', 7, 7'. Intersections of the reinforcing bars can be bound easily.
